Terminology

Member - One who funds and guides a project owner

Project Owner - Owner of an approved project by the members

Member guidelines

• Vested interest in improving our society
• Monthly Rs.1K for a project to be given to D4V
• Willing to guide the project owner towards success. Only 1 project at a time
• Communicate to D4V project progress and completion. Minimum monthly once
• Active participation in project selection. No jerks.
• All Project ideas should not be communicated beyond members or outside of D4V + Project owner
• Unable to pay for the upcoming month need to be informed before the month starts
• Member will be added to D4V Innovation Whatsapp group
• One D4V representation from current leadership will be added (rotational basis)

Project guidelines

• Project should benefit society
• Project scope can change midstream as more learnt
• Project should be a sole idea from the project owner
• Maximum a proof of concept should be feasible with 10K
• No more than 10K will be provided from D4V

Project Owner Guidelines

• Can be an individual, group or organization / school
• Once funded, will not support another project until the earlier project by the owner is complete
• Owner can seek additional funds elsewhere to successfully finish project
• Owner should work with a member of D4V Innovation group
• Showcase progress and completion. Share pictures to members to help promote the project

Above guidelines will be tweaked as we start on projects/progress of the portfolio. Changes to guidelines will be communicated to members and the executive committee.

Advisor Guidelines

• Will be advising only 1 project at a time
• Will mostly be member who volunteered or chosen by other members
• Advisor will be the point of contact for Project Owner and will have 1:1 interaction
• Advisor will guide the project directly with project owner
• Advisor shares in the D4V Innovation group about the project progress and status
• Minimum time required will be weekly an hour max with the project owner
• Advisor can discuss with the project owner on the timeline/finish line of the project scope. Recommendation is not more than 6months

How this works

• Beginning of each month
○ Lack of 10 members to fund a project, D4V will broadcast and bring in new members
○ Project request will be broadcasted by D4V in various platforms and word of mouth

• D4V will add members to D4V Innovation Whatsapp group
• 1 & 2nd week of a month - D4V will broadcast for projects very frequently for first 2 weeks
• 1st week D4V members should have paid 1K to D4V account
• 3rd & 4th week of a month - D4V members will review all the projects submitted and select one
○ Discussion will happen only in D4V Innovation Whatsapp group
○ One project will be selected by all the members who paid 1K
○ Every member should agree to the 1 project that was selected
○ One member will be voted by the member to be the advisory for the project

• 1st of the month - Project Owner will be informed by the advisory of the selection
○ Project Owner provides the bank information

• Starting 2nd day of the month
○ Whatsapp group will be created by the project advisor and add the Project Owner
○ 2nd day - Project owner will be sent the 10K by D4V and informed about the transaction
○ Project owner confirms 10K acceptance
○ Advisory works with Project owner until the project is complete

• Advisory shares in the D4V Innovation group about the project progress and status
